A hospital in Rockland County is currently seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their surgery team. In this role, the Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for patient care regarding patient management, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ordering of pertinent tests, therapeutics & medications. About the Opportunity: 
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
- Specialty: Thoracic Surgery- Multispecialty
- Provide direct care and consultations to patients
- Serve as a consistent Care Coordinator through the continuum of care
- Assess the physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs of the patient
- Direct patients to the next appropriate service and track their progress
- Assure that all patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening, and medical evaluation whenever indicated
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NYS Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Surgical/OR experience
