• Assist in cardiac surgeries as a first assist
• Perform chest tube insertions and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduits
• Provide patient care in the ICU and on the floor as needed
• Participate in call schedule, averaging once per week

• Active New York State License
• NCCPA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Cardiac surgery operating experience, including first assist and vein harvesting
• Robotic experience is a plus

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Call varies, 1-2 evenings a week operating from home

• Proficiency in the use of Epic for documentation
• Strong surgical and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervising physicians and healthcare teams
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
