- Procedures: laparoscopic, open, robotic surgery, endoscopy
- Trauma call coverage
- Clinic consults and outreach work
- Physicians: 2 General Surgeons (as of June 2025), 1 acute surgicalist (eGS)
- APPs: 2 Advanced Practice Providers
- Supervision: eGS acute surgicalist oversees APPs
- Support Staff:
- 1 clinical staff per physician
- 2 receptionists per department
- Medical Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy on-site
- Facilities:
- 2 exam rooms & 2 procedure rooms per providerPatient Population & Volume
- Hospital Census: 160 patients/day (primarily consults)
- Clinic Volume: N/A - mostly trauma/inpatient coverage
- Population Served: 200,000+ across 16 counties (Hub hospital)
- Teaching opportunities with Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residencies (University of Iowa affiliation)
- Board Certification: Required
- Licensure: Active IA license or Compact License - Required
