Casual Summer Roles Mid Dec - End Of Jan.
KEY TASKS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITY HOUSEKEEPING • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, benchtops, and sinks. • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area. • Making beds and changing linens. • Washing windows (as required) • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs. • Sweeping/vacuuming and steaming cleaning/mopping hard floors. • Stocking bathrooms with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies. • Cleaning mirrors and other class surfaces. • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste. • Steaming and cleaning draperies (as required). • Washing blinds (as required). • Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed. • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements. • To perform seasonal deep cleaning as rostered per company policy. • Utilising company equipment to work efficiently and avoid 'time wastage'. • Establish cleaning priorities, utilising the arrivals/departures lists from Property Management System. • Filter cleaning in air conditioning units, dishwashers and stove top exhausts. • Cleaning of play facilities, including tidying and returning play equipment back to original condition. What will success look like? • Guest feedback will be positive, specifically in the cleanliness of our cabin and facilities. • Zero call backs from Team Leader or Management to address missed areas. • Positive feedback from Team Leader and/or Operations Manager. • Time management will improve without a reduction in cleaning standards. LINEN, SUPPLIES & STORAGE • To ensure that all supplies are kept in a neat, orderly and safe manner. • To ensure that adequate supplies are held at all times. • Maintain accurate and current records of stock movement. • To advise Housekeeping Team Leader of supplies and equipment as needed. • To ensure that vehicles are operated with care and are maintained in clean, well-stocked readiness. • To ensure that extra supply of clean replacement items are maintained for immediate use
