Title: Subcontracts AdministratorKBR's National Security Solution (NSS) Procurement & Supply Chain function seeks a Subcontracts Administrator to support our Australia location. The Subcontracts Administrator will be responsible for all phases of subcontract administration, to include: Qualify suppliers, maintain subcontract files in accordance with established procedures and if needed, issue requests for proposals and evaluate proposals. Under general supervision, the individual will solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Knowledge and experience working Government solicitations with the ability to do so independently and in conjunction with day-to-day work Prepare Requests for Proposals/Quote (RFP/RFQ) packages Evaluate proposals and quotations to support procurement decisions Conduct comprehensive price analysis Lead negotiations of Subcontract Agreements, to include the negotiation of Terms & Conditions and Pricing Prepare all required documentation to include in the Subcontract file to ensure CPSR compliance Issue a variety of procurement actions, including but not limited to Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, and Modifications Monitor and maintain POs/Subcontracts within purchasing system Perform peer reviews of procurement files Identify and mitigate contract risks Manage close-out proceduresefficiently Required Skills 1-5 years of relevant experience in purchasing /subcontracts B.S. / B.A. Majors: Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management or Business Law Strong analytical reasoning skills and the ability to interpret policies and government regulations Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders and Subcontractors Experience in mitigating contractual and procurement risks, ensuring adherence to government regulations (FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and CPSR compliance) Strong Negotiator with proven success in subcontract discussions Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Project) Desired Skills Highly organized and systematic approach to task management Ability to work independently with minimal guidance Ability to work across program teams, finance, legal, and compliance departments to drive procurement success Experience with Deltek Costpoint & Deltek Timekeeping system Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Security Requirements Candidates must possess a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance or an Australian TS/PV clearance. A polygraph examination may be required as part of the US clearance process.This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
