Builder Depot is a family run, builder s merchant, consisting of 4 branches located in North West London employing in excess of 400 employees. Our aim is to provide the most efficient and best service to both in-store and online customers in the UK.
To support our ambitions, we are in the process of undertaking a comprehensive business transformation to improve efficiencies and develop a long-term vision and culture, supported by the better use of systems and software.
We are looking for an experienced, hand-on and ambitious individual to help manage and transform all aspects of the stock and inventory in our Flagship and largest branch in New Southgate.
Key Roles and responsibilities:
Manage and streamline all processes and procedures involving stock and inventory held in the branch.
Work to proactively identify and implement process improvements where possible.
Manage and develop the stock and goods-in teams.
Inspire a high performance culture across the branch regarding stock management.
Work regularly through stock profile to reduce overstock/slow moving stock.
Regularly communicate with other departments and senior stakeholders to ensure that they are best supported.
Ensure current inventory is aligned with current and forecasted demand in the market.
Together with the branch manager and head of stock to directly oversee the bi-annual stock take.
Help optimise the merchandising of inventory in the store together with the head of merchandising.
Ensuring key performance indicators are in place to help manage and reward staff.
•Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
•Strong and natural communicative, leadership and management skills.
•A successful track record in bringing improving processes and procedures.
•Data driven in approach to problem solving.
