A newly created opportunity has arisen within our Canberra office due to customer demand for an experienced Staffing Solutions Consultant to partner with both the sales team and all other Delivery teams to grow client relationships and revenue for the Staffing Solutions team.
To do this you will need to source and engage via a variety of avenues including referrals, online candidate marketplaces, social media channels, advertising, your own network, our database and pre qualified talent pools. Once suitable candidates have been found, you will be responsible for the end to end lifecycle to fulfil the placement. This includes conducting phone screens, video interviews and having candidates complete technical assessments to ensure only the best calibre resources are placed to represent Brennan.
You will liaise with customers to drive urgency throughout the interview process to ensure we have a high opportunity to fill conversion rate.
You will work predominantly with existing customers however you are responsible for driving your own pipeline of work through the Customer team. You will need to collaborate proactively providing resource, market and customer insights and have regular communication / meetings with this team to maximise your success.
By developing and maintaining strong relationships with all clients and internal stakeholders, including candidates and line managers, this role will play a pivotal role in acquiring high quality and culturally aligned talent to our client's needs.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Create effective pre qualified talent pools within multiple disciplines within ACT, specifically Federal Government, but not limited to.
- Develop and maintain effective and direct working relationships with customers in your dedicated territory.
- Consult with customer regarding budgets, requirements, outcomes to be achieved and market data as required.
- Take an effective job brief from customers to ensure a true understanding of role and team fit requirements.
- Work with Resourcing team to review talent pools and create awareness for additional assistance with sourcing.
- Identify appropriate sourcing strategies to be utilised when vacancies arise (advertising, networking, poaching, internal referrals etc).
- Prepare and manage advertising, including drafting ad copy, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy and monitoring response rates.
- Agree on frequency of updates and keep clients informed on the progress of each recruitment assignment as required.
- Filter CVs, conduct initial interview process (phone and video / face to face). Create and forward short listed candidates with brief candidate summary to clients.
- Demonstrate the capability to develop and maintain informal and formal relationships internally and/or externally with key stakeholders including clients, candidates and partner businesses.
- Actively respond to clients' requirements with urgency and importance.
- Build credibility with clients and candidates and engage in problem solving.
- Focused on delivery of an exceptional candidate and client experience.
- Produces written reports and completes them to a standard required within the organisation, which provides context for building commitment and understanding.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in recruitment of ICT roles in an agency or staff augmentation environments specifically in ACT, Federal Government.
- Demonstrable stakeholder & account management skills.
- Demonstrable success in hitting sales targets on a regular basis.
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and be self motivated.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and without supervision.
- Must be a result driven individual and competitive with a strong desire to win & succeed.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritise workload, innovative and willing to learn and develop new skills.
- A great team player that wants to achieve success and have fun along the way.
- Understanding of Boolean search and experience with social media sourcing techniques.
