We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Oakland, CA. This is a temporary, three-month position that requires daily in-office presence. The ideal candidate will work closely with a supportive team and contribute to an organization that is committed to making a positive impact in the community. What you'll be working on:
Review and analyze the general ledger.
Maintain fixed assets.
Review inventory.
Complete bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
Assist with financial reports.
Assist with cash posting, deposits and reconciliation.
Perform cost analysis.
Experience and education needed:
BA in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of three years of increasing responsibility in accounting, finance, or audit.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with QuickBooks highly preferred.
