Job Description

Process Development & Optimization

  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for HVAC components and systems.
  • Optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop and update work instructions, work sequence cards, and process documentation.


Project Management

  • Lead or support capital projects, equipment installation, acquisition, and production line modifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design Engineering, Quality, Assembly) for product launches, engineering changes to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for projects.
  • Lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery and safety of manufacturing processes


Continuous Improvement

  • Drive cost reduction, cycle time improvements, and throughput enhancements.
  • Analyze production metrics and root cause manufacturing issues to implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing strategies for equipment, workplace layouts, labor and material flow to meet strategic goals.
  • Develop new or improving existing manufacturing processes in areas such as: Assembly, Sheet-metal, Cooper depot, E-box.


Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve non-conformances and implement robust control plans.
  • Support audits and compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.


Technical Support

  • Provide hands-on support to production teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend tooling, fixtures, and equipment upgrades.


SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing resource planning.


Qualifications

  • BS degree in an Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a senior or leadership position.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and standards.
