The role of Sr. Marketing Manager - Growth Marketing (MENA Markets) is to help drive the growth strategy across our performance marketing channels, including paid search and shopping, paid social, display, and video advertising, to drive sales, revenue, new customer acquisition, and eCommerce app user acquisition for the MENA Region. This role reports directly to the Director of Global Paid Media and supports the Regional Sr. Marketing Director of the MENA markets in scaling and optimizing performance marketing channels.
Responsibilities- Build, coach, and develop a team to support the MENA growth marketing program.
- Help drive paid search, shopping, paid social, display, and video performance marketing strategies from conception to execution, optimization, and post campaign analysis.
- Develop strategies to drive eCommerce User App Acquisition through paid media and App Store Optimization (ASO).
- Collaborate with MENA region leads and specialists to scale their paid media program and identify opportunities on new platforms.
- Plan and manage large scale campaigns on search, social, and display platforms (Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Apple Search Ads, TikTok, etc.) within native tools.
- Partner with business insights, product, and engineering teams to enhance tracking and develop daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for performance analysis.
- Optimize performance marketing campaigns to meet CPA, ROAS, LTV, and churn targets through channel specific levers (copy changes, keyword research, bid adjustments, automation, A/B testing, placement testing, creative optimization, product feed optimization, etc.).
- Support product feed marketing efforts, including Google Shopping, Facebook DPA, and shopping comparison sites.
- Work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative resources to develop necessary assets.
- Collaborate with Earned and influencer Media teams to run paid social strategies alongside organic social strategies and content.
- Ensure overall cost per acquisition (CPA) is within targets and continuously drive customer acquisition at scale.
- Serve as the main point of contact for outside vendor and agency relationships.
- Maintain relevant certifications such as Google Adwords Certified Professional.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required).
- Reading and writing proficiency in another language (e.g., Arabic) not required but a plus.
- Understanding of performance marketing strategies, tactics, and processes.
- Strong understanding of the relationship between marketing channels and business objectives.
- Proven track record of developing and executing innovative performance marketing campaigns at strategic and tactical levels.
- Extensive knowledge of the paid search, paid social, and display landscape, including optimization techniques, bidding models, and ad units across Google Search, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.
- Experience using Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads dashboard, Google Adwords, and other major media buying platforms.
- Deep understanding of customer analytics and attribution: CPA, ROAS, LTV, churn, etc.
- Comfortable performing in a fast moving, performance driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self directed with tact, diplomacy, and a courteous professional manner when dealing with internal departments and external partners.
- Effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with teams inside and outside the department.
- G Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook, and other ad platforms.
- Hands on experience with paid search management platforms, product feed management platforms, and/or tag management technology.
- Knowledge of Asana or other task management platforms (plus).
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of analytics platforms, especially Google Analytics.
- Experience with AppsFlyer or Adjust (plus).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and intermediate to advanced formulas.
- At least 4 5+ years of experience in paid search, paid social, display and video marketing, preferably in a mid to large scale e commerce B2C company or with an advertising agency managing similar size campaigns.
- Experience driving campaigns from concept through execution and performing post campaign analysis.
- Experience with Google Search and Shopping, Facebook Ads, Google Display Network, programmatic display advertising, and video advertising on YouTube.
A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, statistics, or another related field.
