Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Fenergo platform, KYC/AML processes, and Client Onboarding workflows. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate smooth implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Fenergo solutions aligned with regulatory requirements and business needs.



Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k - CAD $130k/year & benefits (see below).



The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering & Documentation:
  • Elicit and document detailed Business & Functional requirements related to Fenergo onboarding, KYC, and AML processes.
  • Develop clear, comprehensive specifications for system enhancements or new features.
  • Fenergo Platform Expertise:
  • Understand and configure Fenergo modules related to Client Lifecycle Management, KYC/AML, and onboarding.
  • Work closely with technical teams for system customization, testing, and deployment.
  • Process Analysis & Optimization:
  • Analyze current client onboarding and KYC/AML workflows.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all solutions align with anti-money laundering regulations, KYC standards, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes impacting onboarding and client due diligence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with business units, compliance, IT, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions as needed.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Develop test plans and scripts to validate system configurations.
  • Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support issue resolution.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, configurations, test cases, and user manuals.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech.
  • Strong knowledge of Fenergo platform, specifically modules related to Client Lifecycle Management, KYC/AML, and onboarding.
  • Understanding of KYC, AML, CDD, EDD processes and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance systems and client onboarding workflows.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Certifications such as CBAP, CFA, CAMS, or Fenergo certification.


Preferred, but not required:

  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
