About us
NLS is NSW's number-one provider of sports coaches for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils.
We are looking for sports coaches in the Northern Beaches to join our team; we need coaches for Soccer, AFL, Touch, Basketball and European Handball.
All of our coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. Coaching experience isn't necessary (although it is preferred), but good knowledge and playing experience of the sport is required.
Schedule
We have morning (6.30 AM-9 AM), in school time (9 AM-3 PM) and after school (3 PM-5 PM) positions available. Both midweek and weekend work are available.
We are looking for sports coaches to join our team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Sports coaching / playing experience
- PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
- Child Protection Training (Preferred)
- First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Sports Coaching
- Attend and conduct all training sessions
- Attend and facilitate all competition games (as required)
- Be reliable and organized
Additional Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of standard coaching practices
- Independently handle multiple sporting priorities
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, administrators, and parents / guardians
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality as needed to protect the rights of individual students
- Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse community.
