NLS is NSW's number-one provider of sports coaches for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils.
OverviewWe are looking for sports coaches in the Blue Mountains to join our team. Coaches will cover Soccer, AFL, Touch, Basketball and many more sports.
Key Requirements- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply)
- Good knowledge and playing experience of the sport (coaching experience preferred)
- Paired with a current Paid Working with Children Check
- Child Protection Training (Preferred)
- First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)
Mornings (6:30 AM - 9 AM), in school (9 AM - 3 PM) and after school (3 PM - 5 PM). Both midweek and weekend work are available.
Tasks & Responsibilities- Conduct sports coaching sessions.
- Attend and facilitate all competition games (as required).
- Maintain reliability and organization.
- Knowledge of standard coaching practices.
- Ability to independently manage multiple sporting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, administrators, and parents/guardians.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and maintain confidentiality when needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse community.
