We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.

As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development to create innovative dishes.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.
Oversee daily food production, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to specification and presented beautifully.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational improvements.

Experience

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Previous supervisory experience is essential, demonstrating effective team management abilities.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Experience in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
