The Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize software modules for simple to complex system requirements, ensuring high-quality code, system performance, and maintainability in SAP EWM environments. This role requires active involvement in coding (SAP ABAP), debugging and testing. The position is a remote-based role with some travel to customer or project sites required.

• Software Design: Create software designs in conjunction with the consultants in the context of our SAP EWM implementation projects.
• Coding & Debugging: Implement designs in SAP EWM systems, conduct code reviews, fix complex bugs, present technical findings internally, and implement code optimizations as per specifications.
• Testing, Documentation & Support: Participate in stringent software testing procedures including onsite integration testing at our customer sites.
• Onsite and Remote Support: Support go-lives onsite and remotely.

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with strong ABAP expertise.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• In-depth experience with SAP software, ideally SAP EWM.
• Good understanding of intralogistics processes.
• Experience integrating SAP EWM with automation technology using the SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS).
• Experience with clean code practices and code reviews.
• Comfortable with debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent self-learning capabilities and interpersonal communication.
• Experience mentoring and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
