The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Bega.
We're looking for a friendly person who can brighten the day of an older Gentleman in Bega. He would enjoy the company of a 'Mate' for a cuppa and chat, you could visit 1 hour weekly or fortnightly depending on your availability.
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of clients who are living at home.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
