The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Culburra.

From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.

We are seeking a friendly Volunteer to visit an elderly man living in a residential care home in Culburra Beach. His interests include good conversation, gardening, painting, and quizzes. He would enjoy meeting someone to go for a short stroll with and have a chat over a cuppa.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30-minute visit between 9 am and 4 pm Monday to Sunday; visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
