SMT Operator - Electronics Manufacturing Location: Sun Prairie, WI, 53590 Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team in Sun Prairie, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience loading components onto feeders and setting up SMT machines, verifying part numbers, quantities, and orientation, and ensuring proper handling and loading of electronic components to prevent damage.

Responsibilities:
  • Load components onto feeders and set up SMT machines
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and orientation
  • Ensure proper handling and loading of electronic components to prevent damage
  • Monitor machine operation and promptly report any errors or issues
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

  • Prior experience in an SMT environment (1+ years preferred).

  • Familiarity with component identification and SMT loading procedures.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
