SMP Coordinator

Location: Karratha, WA (FIFO from Perth)

Roster: 2:1 11-hour days (10.5 hrs paid + unpaid break)

Contract: 6 months Immediate start potential for extension

We are seeking an experienced Site SMP Coordinator to join a Hydrogen Project ion the Pilbara. This role is critical in overseeing structural, mechanical, and piping activities on-site, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of works. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and provide technical support to ensure compliance with project standards and schedules.

• Supervise and coordinate SMP construction activities on-site.
• Interface with engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure constructability.
• Monitor fabrication and installation schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
• Prepare and review work packs, progress reports, and execution plans.
• Support management of change (MOC) processes and site-based design changes.
• Drive safety, quality, and cost control across all site activities.

• Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Chemical Engineeringorrelevant trade background.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in onshore plant construction
• Strong subcontractor management and site execution experience.
• Proven track record in Australian construction projects.
• Computer literacy (P6 advantageous) and excellent communication skills.
