One of our premier clients is currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor, to work on a prestigous nuclear facility site, in Plymouth. A long term project which sees a major upturn in delivery intensity and a great opportunity for individuals to progress their careers and shape up their future.
The Supervisor is responsible for co-ordinating and supervising the work within their own gang, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme.
This involves briefing to the gang, carrying out checks on plant and equipment and ensuring permits are in place. Operate and promote safe working within gang.
Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and that they have been briefed to gang and understood.
Discuss any changes or amendments to method statements with site supervisor
Skills and attributes desirable:
Working knowledge of on construction sites.
Ensure a safe place of work Lead by example to others on site
Ensure supervision of the gang at all times
Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures.
Capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.
Driving license
Please note, a valid CSCS and SSSTS card is a mandatory requirement for all candidates
