Our clients are seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to work in Hertford Tuesday to Saturday -
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the showroom's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, and stock management.
Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing guidance and support to maximize their performance and achieve sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, offering advice and guidance to help them select the perfect furniture pieces for their homes.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
Check what is happening in the industry by having a look at what our competitor are doing.
Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
Collaborate with the customer service department to ensure all customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales requests are handled promptly and to the highest standard.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, generate reports, and propose strategies to improve showroom operations and achieve revenue targets.
Maintain a visually appealing and well-organized showroom environment, ensuring all furniture displays are impeccably presented.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a similar retail management role, preferably within the furniture or luxury goods industry.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong sales acumen and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and create a positive shopping experience.
A passion for interior design and an understanding of furniture styles and trends.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Proficiency in using retail software for administration.
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
