Join AECOM as a Senior Project Controls Specialist in Dubai, responsible for executing comprehensive project control activities across medium to large scale projects and supporting the broader project management team.
Key responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, working closely with the Project Management team, developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and baseline budgets, collecting progress data, performing Earned Value Analysis, investigating variances, identifying financial risks, creating weekly performance tracking reports, analyzing cost projections, providing audit data, maintaining financial records, ensuring governance compliance, safeguarding change management, and collaborating with company financial systems.
Requirements- Hands on experience with Earned Value Management methodology on complex design projects.
- Strong understanding of cost/schedule integration concepts and progress measurement fundamentals.
- Strong analytical skills and structured thinking.
- Ability to present and communicate financial data effectively to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and awareness of the financial impact of project actions and contractual obligations.
- Proficiency with tools and techniques for analyzing and presenting large datasets.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project controls or related fields.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
- Working toward a professional membership is preferred.
