Senior SAP PaPM Consultant

Etihad Airways is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA and SAP PaPM Lead Consultant to lead the implementation and optimization of SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) within the SAP S/4HANA environment. The consultant will design, implement, and fine-tune profitability models and analytics to generate Route Profitability reports and enable data-driven decision-making.

• SAP PaPM Implementation & Configuration: Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP PaPM for profitability and performance management with emphasis on Route Profitability reporting. Design and configure models to calculate and analyze profitability data for airline routes; ensure data integration from SAP S/4HANA and other sources.
• Route Profitability Reporting: Develop and optimize route profitability reports; define KPIs and metrics with stakeholders; create reports reflecting route revenue, costs, fuel efficiency, load factors, and other performance metrics.
• Data Integration and Modelling: Design robust data models for SAP PaPM; ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and other systems; collaborate with SAP data integration teams to provide accurate data for profitability calculations.
• Customization & Optimization: Tailor PaPM models to Etihad's structure, configure allocation rules and cost drivers, test and optimize models for performance and accuracy; implement continuous fine-tuning based on user feedback.
• Profitability Analytics and Insights: Enable scenario modelling and advanced profitability analysis; develop dashboards to visualize profitability trends and anomalies; perform what-if analyses and present insights to leadership.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements across finance, operations, commercial, and strategy; align on KPIs and ensure reports meet business goals; engage with senior leadership on profitability metrics.
• Testing, Validation, and Documentation: Lead testing and UAT for models and reports; document configurations, rules, and models for maintenance.
• Training & Support: Provide training and post-implementation support; create user manuals and training materials; assist users in leveraging profitability reports effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in PaPM models; stay current with SAP PaPM enhancements and best practices.

• Professional Experience: 8-10 years of experience with SAP PaPM, with a focus on profitability models and reporting; at least 5 years of hands-on PaPM configuration and optimization; experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with Finance, Controlling, and Supply Chain; aviation/transport/logistics experience is a plus.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or related field; SAP S/4HANA or PaPM certifications preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP PaPM, including allocation logic, cost drivers, profitability reporting, and scenario analysis; experience designing data models, data integration, and reporting within SAP; proficiency with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics and Fiori; knowledge of cost center and profit center accounting; SAP BW/BO experience is a plus.

• Experience in aviation or travel industry profitability analysis; knowledge of airline cost management and financial modelling; familiarity with advanced analytics and predictive modelling in SAP PaPM.
