The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SailPoint Identity Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of identity governance and access management (IGA) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ and IdentityNow. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in architecting enterprise grade identity solutions, including user provisioning, access certifications, compliance reporting, and workflow automation. This role involves leading technical decision making, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across identity governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of identity governance and access management (IGA) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ and IdentityNow.
  • Design and configure workflows, policies, and rules within SailPoint to meet business requirements.
  • Implement user provisioning, access certifications, compliance reporting, and role based access control (RBAC) frameworks.
  • Integrate SailPoint with enterprise systems such as HR platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), Active Directory, and other cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and IT teams to translate identity governance requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies for identity lifecycle management and access control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity governance issues, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Mentor junior consultants and guide them in SailPoint implementation best practices.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and maintenance activities following DevOps best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in identity governance and access management (IGA), with at least 5 years of hands on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and IdentityNow.
  • Extensive expertise in designing and implementing enterprise grade identity governance solutions, including user provisioning, access certifications, compliance reporting, and RBAC frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, role mining, and compliance workflows.
  • Proven experience in integrating SailPoint with enterprise systems such as HR platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), Active Directory, and other cloud applications.
  • Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth, SAML, LDAP) and identity governance best practices.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and CI/CD pipelines for identity governance deployments.
  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: SailPoint Certified Implementation Professional (SCIPro), SailPoint Certified Technical Architect (SCTA).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and SaaS application integrations.
  • Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, SAML, LDAP) and identity governance best practices.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API security.
