POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as a lead expert in the recruitment function. Performs successful recruiting, matching and placement of applicants to departmental vacancies so that qualified individuals and professionals are selected as University Health System employees. Represents UHS at designated recruiting functions. Develops sources of qualified health care professionals. Performs screening of candidates to ensure that all qualified prospective employees are referred for consideration to department supervisors for final approval. Assists the Manager of Recruitment in carrying out staff functions, projects, and event coordination. Provides the Executive Director of Human Resources with recruitment metric and other statistical report information as needed. Serves a lead role on the Recruiting team and demonstrates proficiency in all areas of Recruiting and Employment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field is required. Three years human resources experience as a Benefits Analyst or Recruiter required. Five years of recruitment experience is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of employee interview techniques and applicable regulations is required. The ability to independently conduct interviews via telephone, various software applications and in person is a must.
