• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for infrastructure projects
• Develop cost control systems to track project expenditures and performance
• Analyze and report on project costs, forecasts, and variances
• Manage procurement processes including tender documentation and evaluation
• Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliers
• Prepare and analyse bills of quantities for major infrastructure works
• Conduct value engineering to optimise project costs and improve efficiency
• Resolve contractual disputes and handle claim assessments
• Provide expert commercial and cost advice to project teams
• Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Support reporting, financial tracking, and project controls
• Stay updated with regional construction market trends and benchmarks

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Professional certification such as RICS or AACE
• Minimum 10 years of quantity surveying experience in infrastructure projects
• Proven track record in managing commercial aspects of large scale developments
• Proficient in QS software such as CostX or Causeway
• Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and contract administration abilities
• Skilled in cost estimation, cost control, procurement, and contract management
• Familiarity with local and international construction standards and regulations
• Ability to work in fast paced, multicultural environments
• Willingness to travel within the UAE and regionally when required
