As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at ALEC FITOUT, you'll play a key role in managing the commercial and cost aspects of prestigious projects - ensuring value, control, and excellence throughout the construction lifecycle.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Manage cost and commercial processes across assigned packages within major fit-out projects.
• Prepare interim valuations, assess subcontractor payment applications, and manage variations.
• Support procurement strategies, subcontract negotiations, and commercial close-outs.
• Lead the preparation of monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs).
• Track and report project financial performance against budgets.
• Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost control.
• Prepare final accounts and assist with claims and contractual matters.
• Mentor junior QS team members and provide guidance on best commercial practices.

Experience:

• 10+ years' experience, with 5+ years in luxury interior fit-out projects.
• Proven skills in contract management, cost control, and subcontractor management.
• Strong commercial awareness, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial management, and procurement.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Competent in MS Excel and commercial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and document management discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Regional or Middle East experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
