Job Purpose:
Direct the team and activities of the projects delivery department to deliver the project in accordance with the company's strategic plans, policies, and procedures. Develop all horizontal infrastructure design initiatives while ensuring adherence to authorities requirements.
Responsibilities- Lead the setting of the project delivery portfolio strategy in coordination with heads of department and in alignment with Bloom's corporate strategy
- Create a framework for utility services for different projects based on the approved master plan.
- Manage infrastructure design activities to ensure they meet the value proposition.
- Manage the design of infrastructure work for assigned projects and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure strict compliance with local authority requirements.
- Deliver all technical reports to the management for advice and design reviews on ongoing projects.
- Perform technical evaluations to assist Project Procurement in developing project scope and assessing third parties (consultants, contractors, and subcontractors).
- Manage third-party infrastructure analysis (PMC, consultants, and contractors) and ensure drawing submittals are in accordance with Bloom project specifications.
- Identify potential cost/time savings ideas and provide value engineering recommendations to the project team.
- Decide on project schedule, anticipate, and resolve possible roadblocks to completion of construction to ensure on-time project delivery
- Actively lead the risk mitigation measures to ensure that the approved business plans meet profit and turnover targets
- Provide to the CDO constant progress updates and monthly reports on delivery progress, major issues or conflicts, and anticipated roadblocks whenever appropriate.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the line manager.
- Bachelor's in engineering, preferably Civil Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the development and infrastructure management industry with at least 5 years at a manager level
