Senior Project Manager

Location: Sutherland Shire

Job Type: Permanent full-time

Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 + super (depending on experience)

Our client, a leading property development and construction group is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the client-side delivery of high rise residential and mixed use commercial projects.

This is a rare opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role within a design led, forward thinking organisation with a strong pipeline of landmark developments.

As Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects from concept to completion, with a strong focus on head contract administration and construction methodology.

You'll work closely with the Development Management team, providing technical guidance and bridging the gap between design intent and buildability.

You'll also have P&L responsibility for the project management function, with the autonomy to recruit and grow your team in line with project demands.

This role is ideal for someone who's already led external builders and is ready to step into a broader leadership position.

• Lead end to end delivery of Class 2 residential and mixed use commercial projects
• Manage head contract administration, procurement, and negotiations
• Provide expert advice on construction methodology, buildability, and risk
• Collaborate with the DM team to resolve construction related challenges
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and reporting
• Recruit, mentor, and grow the project management team
• Drive quality, program, and commercial outcomes across all phases

• 5+ years' experience in project management, ideally in a developer builder or client side environment
• Proven experience managing external builders and head contractors
• Strong construction knowledge and commercial acumen
• Confident leading teams and influencing across disciplines
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
