An amazing Middle East award winning architectural studio is seeking a senior project manager for airport development to join its team in Dubai.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your architectural background with project management skills, playing a pivotal role in shaping a critical piece of infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the overall project management of the new airport development, ensuring it meets all budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
  2. Oversee the design team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other consultants to create a functional, efficient and aesthetically pleasing airport facility.
  3. Manage all project documentation, including contracts, budgets, schedules and risk assessments.
  4. Facilitate communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, regulatory agencies and airlines.
  5. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and aviation industry standards.

Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management, preferably within the architecture or construction industry.
  2. Strong architectural background with a proven understanding of design principles and construction practices; a registered architect license is a plus.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  4. Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proficiency in design and architecture software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
  6. Understanding of relevant building codes and aviation industry standards (a plus).
  7. Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field (required); master's degree in construction management or a related field (a plus).
