About the Role
Join a global leader in lithium production during an exciting ramp-up phase. As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering brownfield projects.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll lead projects through the full lifecycle-from initiation and design through to commissioning and handover-ensuring alignment with the company's governance framework and strategic objectives.

About the Role
Join a global leader in lithium production during an exciting ramp-up phase. As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering brownfield projects.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll lead projects through the full lifecycle-from initiation and design through to commissioning and handover-ensuring alignment with the company's governance framework and strategic objectives.

What You'll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- 7+ years' project management experience in mining, resources, or major industrial sectors
- Experience in downstream processing/chemical plants
- Proven track record in brownfield environments, including study management, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations readiness
- Knowledge of Australian engineering and construction practices
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage risk and deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with digital technologies in project delivery
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project strategies and plans
- Lead projects through all phases: initiation, design, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Coordinate interfaces between engineering, execution, and operations teams
- Manage procurement, cost, and schedule performance
- Drive governance compliance and risk management
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Engage and manage key vendors and stakeholders
