Job Description

As a Senior Procurement Executive, you will oversee and enhance procurement processes, strategize negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure quality delivery of goods and services. Strengthen communication with cross functional teams and drive innovation in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company goals and objectives efficiently.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms possible.
  • Analyse market trends to identify potential supply risks and opportunities for savings.
  • Assess and manage the supplier base to ensure reliable access to needed goods and services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure procurement aligns with broader business strategies.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Establish strong vendor relationships with an emphasis on long term partnerships and mutual benefit.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure agreed standards and terms are being met consistently.
  • Lead and mentor junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Manage procurement databases and maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget to optimize spending and reduce costs effectively.
  • Report on procurement metrics and supply chain initiatives to senior management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful supplier agreements.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail in complex problem solving.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and leading procurement projects end to end.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software and tools is required.
