As a Senior Manager / Director in EY's Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team, you will help leading financial institutions navigate regulatory complexity, strengthen capital resilience, and modernize their risk management frameworks. The role requires deep expertise across credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk, Basel III/IV, ICAAP, IFRS 9, and the ability to lead large transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex risk transformation engagements covering credit, market, liquidity, operational risk, regulatory capital, and stress testing.
• Design, calibrate, and validate risk models under Basel and IFRS 9.
• Develop and review ICAAP frameworks, capital planning, and stress testing programs.
• Support clients in strengthening liquidity risk frameworks (LCR, NSFR, IRRBB) and aligning ALM practices.
• Advise on operational risk frameworks, RCSA design, loss data analytics, and capital quantification.
• Oversee engagement governance, ensuring delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and measurable impact.

Market and Business Development

• Build and manage senior client relationships, including C suite.
• Contribute to business development through proposal leadership and solution design.
• Identify emerging client needs (ESG, climate risk, AI governance) and translate into new service offerings.

People and Practice Development

• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Develop EY's intellectual capital through publications and client insights.
• Promote cross border collaboration with other EY member firms.

Desirable / Differentiating Areas

• Lead fraud risk analytics using machine learning.
• Design third party risk management frameworks.
• Apply AI/ML and automation in model governance.

Skills And Attributes

• Strong quantitative background and regulatory fluency across credit, market, liquidity, operational risk.
• Deep understanding of Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, ICAAP/ILAAP.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SAS, or SQL.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Strategic thinker translating complex regulations into actionable solutions.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

• 12-15 years of experience in financial services risk management.
• Demonstrated success leading risk and capital management transformation programs.
• Experience working directly with regulators.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

• Exposure to fraud, third party, or digital risk domains.
• International project experience across Europe, Australia, or APAC.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or PRM.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML for predictive modelling.
