Senior Lifeguard - Zeehan

As Senior Lifeguard you will be based primarily at the newly upgraded Zeehan Swimming Pool. Your key responsibilities will be to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, supervising seasonal lifeguards, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and supporting the effective daily operation of facilities. Working with limited supervision, the Senior Lifeguard will play a key role in maintaining the facility to a high standard.

Important: weekend and public holiday shifts are required as part of this position. There may also be occasions where the Senior Lifeguard is required to work at the Queenstown Swimming Pool.

Are you legally entitled to work in Australia

Yes, I am an Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident

Yes, I hold a valid work visa

Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and current First Aid Certificate and CPR qualification

Demonstrated experience as a lifeguard with ability to supervise and support a team.

Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices appropriate for the role.

Ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and the public.

Proven ability to respond effectively in emergencies and apply established procedures.
