Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist with a background in manufacturing, industrial work force, or sales trade environments to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of relevant experience who is comfortable working in a hands-on, standalone HR position. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing HR functions in a traditional office setting, with the ability to make decisions independently and align with our family-owned company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle HR Management: Oversee all HR functions including recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, internal training, and coaching.
Employee Relations: Handle employee onboarding, field questions, manage forms and paperwork, and address employee concerns.
Compliance: Conduct background checks, drug screenings, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
Benefits Administration: Manage open enrollment and ongoing benefits processes.
Training and Development: Provide internal training and coaching to employees.
Decision Making: Ability to make critical HR decisions, including hiring and terminations.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years in HR roles within manufacturing, industrial work force, or sales trade environments
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM certification is a plus.
Skills: Proficient in employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and internal training. Strong decision-making abilities and comfortable with traditional office culture.
Personal Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, hands-on approach, and ability to work independently.
