Join BALBOA - BALBOA is an award winning in house creative and production agency that helps sport and entertainment brands connect with audiences through creative that's built by fans, for fans.

We're looking for a talented Senior Designer who's strong in both campaign craft and brand identity. Someone who cares about ideas as much as execution - who knows how to build a brand language, and also bring it to life beautifully across real world touchpoints.

You'll work across brand refreshes, campaign work and ad hoc design briefs - bringing consistency, clarity and craft to everything you do.

You'll sit inside Balboa's award winning design team, collaborating closely with the Creative Director, Design and with our Marketing partners. You lead through your work - shaping design thinking and helping elevate the quality of what we put into the world.

• Balance campaign design with conceptual brand + identity projects
• Bring strong ideas - authoring concepts, exploring routes and translating strategy into design
• Run creative catch ups and idea generation sessions that push thinking in the team
• Spend a lot of time designing - with strong craft across typography, colour, iconography and a passion for the principles of design
• Deliver high quality design across digital, print, OOH, social and broadcast aware formats
• Put together engaging client presentations and present work with confidence
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to refine ideas and shape direction
• Mentor designers and contribute to a collaborative, supportive studio culture
• Manage multiple projects with focus, pace and attention to detail

• 6+ years of design experience, with a strong portfolio spanning brand identity, campaigns, digital, and print
• Strong fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• A sharp eye and ability to craft typography, layout, and detail
• A working knowledge of AI tools and a genuine curiosity for how tech can streamline design rollouts.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• A genuine passion for brand identity - you're a design nerd who studies and follows brands closely.
• Your finger on the pulse of world class design campaigns, with a strong pool of knowledge and reference you draw on to inspire and elevate projects.
• A collaborative mindset, balanced with the ability to work independently and lead projects.
• You love and consume content - from TV shows to movies - and enjoy engaging with the world of entertainment.
