ITV America is the largest independent producer of non-scripted and scripted content in North America through its production labels ITV Entertainment, Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, High Noon Entertainment, Thinkfactory Media, Good Caper Crime, ITV Studios America, and Tomorrow Studios. ITV US is a reality television powerhouse with hundreds of hours of cutting-edge and innovative unscripted programming, airing on various major networks. We produce leading content including Queer Eye, Hell's Kitchen, Love Island, The Four, Pawn Stars, Fixer Upper, Forged in Fire, and Real Housewives of NJ, just to name a few. In addition, we are building our scripted library with shows including Good Witch and Snowpiercer.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be based out of Los Angeles (North Hollywood) and report to the Director of Accounting. This role requires an individual who has experience in integrating robust accounting systems and procedures and is highly motivated with the ability to be flexible with ever-changing priorities. This role will initially support the finance function for the portfolio of businesses across the ITVA portfolio, including ITV Entertainment, Leftfield Pictures, Thinkfactory, Sirens, and Good Caper. Solid communication, technology, and analytical skills are a must for success.
The targeted salary for this role is $85-99,000 annually including benefits (medical, vision, dental, paid time off, 401(k) match, etc)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform reconciliations for cash, GL, and intercompany accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare Journal Entries and provide support as part of the month end close process
- Maintain Fixed Asset ledger - month end close procedures and reporting
- Track and analyze project cash outflows, support project cash forecasting, and settling cross system billbacks and collection process
- Support procure to pay process for corporate overheads, credit card spend, and processing payroll into the GL
- Prepare information to tax department for reporting, tax planning and compliance
- Prepare information for internal and external audits
- Maintain documentation ensuring ITV's internal controls are maintained
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field, CPA preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 years financial and accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment sector
- Mix of public accounting and private experience preferred
- Strong background in General Ledger, Financial Analysis, US GAAP, Financial Reporting in a multi company environment
- Experience in Oracle and/or large ERP experience a plus
- Strong excel skills in analysis and modeling
- Critical thinker with innovative solutions to complex business issues
