Senior Financial Accounting Analyst
Location: Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
Work Schedule: Hybrid; In-office days: Wednesday & Thursday
Pay: Up to $78/hour based off experience
A unique opportunity to join a high-performing financial controllership team responsible for managing revenue and licensing accounting, rights management, analysis, and reporting processes across a wide portfolio of consumer product categories. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies, driving financial insights, and contributing to system and process enhancements across various business functions. Ideal for professionals who are analytical, self-motivated, and comfortable working in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage licensing revenue accounting functions, including royalty statement processing, analysis, and cash application for a portfolio of licensees.
Handle royalty expense functions, including preparation of royalty statements and payment processing for third-party obligations.
Collaborate with finance and contract teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with policy.
Own licensee account management, ensuring timely and accurate processing and issue resolution.
Execute quarter-end close activities and prepare necessary account reconciliations.
Lead or contribute to systems and process improvement projects.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special initiatives as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF formulas).
Strong SAP experience
Must be experienced with licensing and royalty accounting
5+ years of financial analysis experience
Pay Details: $70.00 to $78.00 per hour
