Job Description

• Translate the fashion direction provided by the Line Manager into cohesive and commercially viable collections.
• Conduct ongoing trend research on fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and overall market movements.
• Design and develop seasonal collections that align with brand identity and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with buyers, planners, and forecasters to ensure products meet the design brief.
• Work closely with buying and planning teams to align designs with market needs, target customers, and price points.
• Apply strong technical knowledge of garment construction to ensure feasibility for production.
• Maintain proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other industry-standard design tools.
• Demonstrate excellent organization, multitasking, and problem solving skills throughout the design process.
• Accurately manage lineups, collection maps, and technical packs.
• Oversee the creation and coordination of collections for development, ensuring effective collaboration within the team.
• Lead fitting sessions in partnership with the design and buying teams.
• Supervise and guide a team of designers and junior designers, providing support, mentorship and direction.
• Report directly to the Line Manager, working under supervision and mentorship.
• Participate in development trips alongside the Line Manager.

• 5 7 years of experience in Fashion Design.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. CLO3D is a plus.
• Passionate about fashion.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, textiles, and design to production processes.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design projects, delivering creative direction, and collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous collections and work experience.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills.
