Senior Data Lead will oversee the strategic direction, architecture, and delivery of the company's data and analytics ecosystem. This role bridges technical expertise and business strategy-ensuring that data platforms, analytics solutions, and BI tools empower the organization to make informed, data driven decisions. The ideal candidate is an experienced data professional with deep technical knowledge in data architecture, visualization, and analytics, combined with strong leadership skills and a forward thinking approach to data innovation, including the adoption of AI and machine learning technologies.

• Lead and manage the Data & BI team, guiding strategy, technical direction, and best practices across data engineering, analytics, and visualization.
• Define and execute the data strategy, ensuring scalability, governance, and alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and development of enterprise level BI solutions and data platforms.
• Implement and manage data integration, warehousing, and transformation pipelines across cloud and on premise systems.
• Champion the use of BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Oracle Analytics, MicroStrategy, etc.) to deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to integrate machine learning models, predictive analytics, and statistical methods into business workflows.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance through strong governance and data stewardship frameworks.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in data analytics, AI, and cloud technologies to continuously improve capabilities.
• Mentor and develop BI developers, analysts, and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments to translate business requirements into scalable, high impact data solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership or technical management capacity.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, and strong working knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Looker, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schemas).
• Hands on experience with cloud based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (Data Factory, Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, etc.).
• Familiarity with statistical and machine learning tools such as Python (pandas, scikit learn), R, or SAS for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
• Proven experience implementing data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, performance optimization, and user experience design for analytics products.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Data Analyst, Azure Data Engineer, Tableau Certified Professional, or Google Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
