Senior Civil Engineer

Role Opportunity. A leading engineering and project delivery consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong mining background. This role will be instrumental in the technical design and delivery of a diverse range of mining infrastructure projects.

• Initial 12 month contract with strong chance of extension
• Competiive hourly rate offered. Diverse range of mining projects
• Perth CBD based

• Formal Civil Engineering qualifications
• 8 years experience + across technical civil engineering roles.
• Strong experience in Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage design engineering in a relevant industry, e.g., mining, mineral processing, materials handling, and heavy industrial.
• Engineering consultant background required
• Able to work closely with clients, vendors and suppliers
• Able to complete engineering and project documentation
• Excellent safety attitude
• Excellent team skills

• Produce civil engineering designs of mining and resources projects, including site infrastructure, bulk earthworks, access/haul roads, drainage systems and associated civil infrastructure.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, drawings, and technical reports.
• Provide design input across feasibility, concept, and detailed design phases.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Apply design standards, specifications, and quality assurance procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the development of team capability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and design efficiency.
