• Advice on bus priority measures such as priority at traffic signals with special sequence phasing, exclusive bus lanes, contra flow arrangement for buses, reserve zones, free bus access to busy commercial areas, park & ride, bus only laybys, etc.
• Assess efficiency of current bus infrastructure (depots, stations, terminals, stops) and propose improvements.
• Assist agency in efficient utilisation of buses and manpower.
• Suggest methodology to monitor bus network performance, evaluate deficiencies, propose solutions.
• Undertake reviews and investigations of operational and administrative matters and prepare reports as requested.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.
• Assist and advise Planning & Business Development Department in developing long and short term public transport and shared mobility network plans that reflect strategic objectives and seamless integration with other transit modes.
• Review management indicators and propose criteria to increase passenger numbers.
• Ensure full compliance between department initiatives, programs, projects, and RTA strategies and objectives.
• Develop appropriate network strategy, service standards and performance indicators to achieve optimum level of service and operational efficiency.
• Organise research to evaluate passenger demand on existing network and new developments: conduct field surveys, collect data from authorities, agencies, and developers.
• Assist & advise during evaluation of requests for new and alternative services and service changes from customers, developers, PTA staff, and stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering or transport planning from a recognized university with minimum 11 years of experience, OR Master's degree with minimum 9 years of experience.
