• Warehouse construction, refurbishments and commercial fit out (non process related)
• Project Management Consultancy (PMC) covering all project execution activities: contract management, quality control, safety, environment, risk and issue management

• Lead early stage design development and consultant engagement
• Oversee and support main contract tender process, including RFIs, design queries, clarifications, award and contractor appointment
• Manage day to day contractor liaison, focusing on design adherence and quality control
• Deliver high risk/high profile projects, providing design and delivery assurance
• Assemble and lead a project team from different departments to form a cohesive unit
• Ensure project roles are fully resourced, manage resource gaps, and coordinate coordination among teams
• Plan, coordinate, monitor and take action for safe, timely, cost effective completion from initiation to handover
• Prioritize safety with Health & Safety representatives, demonstrating culture and behaviour, reviewing contractor and consultant reports, programmes and risk registers
• Set and meet expectations for time, cost, quality and benefits realization
• Proactively identify issues and risks, developing mitigation techniques and strategies
• Monitor design progress, raise issues, and seek early support when required
• Conduct site visits to ensure safety practices, quality assurance, and performance appraisal
• Engage consultant resident engineers, design teams and appointed contractors to resolve issues promptly
• Coordinate with team members and other departments in scope, specifications, target dates and other documentation
• Assist with preparation of Bill of Quantity items for projects
• Lead site meetings/inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance, initiating corrective actions as required
• Provide technical advice and guidance to construction staff
• Assist Contracts Manager in reviewing payment certificates, claims & disputes; perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university (minimum requirement)
• 10+ years of relevant experience in architectural design, project management and administration within large scale commercial construction and refurbishment projects
• Demonstrated skill in managing building project delivery
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• UAE/regional construction experience is important
• Proven track record managing contractors with stringent HSE controls
• Proficiency in relevant architectural and project management software (BIM, Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making capabilities under tight deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of contracts and local authority permitting, approvals and documentation
• End to end project management from scope & design development to handover
• Strong contract and tender process oversight
• Excellent coordination skills to manage contractors, consultants and internal teams
• Proactive risk and issue management with mitigation planning
• Dedicated commitment to health and safety and quality standards and compliance
• Technical and commercial understanding of EOT/Variation claims
