We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will hold an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and have experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support.
Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions.
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as FP&A, Tax, and Operations.
Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Active CPA license is required.
3-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
Background in public accounting or audit.
Exposure to multi-entity or international accounting.
