SEN Tutor & Teaching Assistant - Part-Time (Cheshire East)
We are delighted to be working with a dedicated SEN provision to recruit a passionate and proactive SEN Tutor/Teaching Assistant for a unique, part-time role across Cheshire East.
If you're looking for something different from the traditional classroom, this could be the perfect fit. This role takes learning beyond four walls, offering activity-led, hands-on sessions where education is woven into real-world experiences. Think engaging, interactive learning - where sitting still is optional and curiosity leads the way.
About the Role
-
Support children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
-
Deliver 1:1 and small-group support in community-based, off-site settings.
-
Create dynamic, interactive activities that make learning engaging and accessible.
-
Track progress and complete end-of-week learner reports.
What We're Looking For
-
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLLS or PTLLS).
-
Proven experience supporting learners with SEMH needs.
-
A full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential due to off-site locations).
-
A flexible, energetic, and outdoor-minded approach.
What We Offer
-
A truly unique and rewarding role outside the traditional classroom.
-
Competitive pay: £14/hr as a TA, £25/hr as a Tutor.
-
Support from Chalk Education's friendly, experienced team.
-
Flexible working - just 5 hours per day.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring learning to life and make a genuine impact in a creative, non-traditional setting.
Apply today to join us and help young learners thrive in new and exciting ways.
