Pay: $118k/year
Experience:- Experience administering Carbon Black products.
- Experience with the administration of a variety of operating systems, such as Windows Server, Linux.
- 4-6 years of experience in network administration (preferably Cisco)
- 4-6 years of experience with a variety of security products in production environments
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Security certification such as GIAC-GSEC, CCSP, or CISSP

Security Analyst II to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:- Administer Carbon Black App Control and Carbon Black Cloud
- Assist with the administration of: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Application Firewalls, SIEM platforms and endpoint security systems, VPN and remote access solutions, Web/URL filtering and proxy systems, and Authentication systems, DNS, and load balancing systems.
- Implement approved changes to firewall and network access rules
- Perform and document routine vulnerability scans across all systems; scan all new installations for compliance
- Audit system logs for signs of intrusions, malware, spam, and other malicious activity
- Analyze and help resolve security events; prepare Incident Reports when necessary
- Configure, monitor, and fine-tune security monitoring tools (IDS, IPS, SIEM)
- Install, configure, and monitor VPNs, SSL-VPNs, and boundary protection systems
- Research new vulnerabilities and patches; alert the Security Team and assist System Administrators with mitigation
- Support application security testing to ensure compliance with security standards
Position Requirements:- Firewall administration (Stateful Packet Inspection, Application Security Firewalls)
- Security software expertise, including: Carbon Black Application Control & Cloud, Web/URL filtering tools, SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and SSL VPN software
- Authentication and two-factor solutions
- Full disk encryption & host-based firewalls
- Network administration tools: F5 LTM/GTM, external DNS management, Cisco wireless routers & access points
- Strong networking knowledge of Routing, TCP/IP, packet analysis, and subnetting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex technical info into clear terms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to assess issues and recommend solutions
- High initiative, strong work ethic, and commitment to ethical standards
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results
