Salary

Base salary $101,122-$160,983 plus benefits. Total package up to $182,461. $20,000 recruitment bonus available.

Role Summary

School counsellor at Monaro High School working with Year 7-12 students. Provide counselling, psychological assessment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team. Eligible for professional supervision and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling to students.
  • Conduct psychological assessments, case formulation, and report writing.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
  • Participate in professional supervision and continuing professional development.
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
  • Registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Experience in evidence based counselling for children and young people.
  • Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
Conditions

  • Willingness to travel between worksites.
