SalaryBase salary $101,122-$160,983 plus benefits. Total package up to $182,461. $20,000 recruitment bonus available.
Role SummarySchool counsellor at Monaro High School working with Year 7-12 students. Provide counselling, psychological assessment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team. Eligible for professional supervision and professional development.
Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counselling to students.
- Conduct psychological assessments, case formulation, and report writing.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
- Participate in professional supervision and continuing professional development.
- Registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Experience in evidence based counselling for children and young people.
- Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Eligibility for the Teachers award under the Crown Employees award 2024.
- Eligibility to teach or commence teaching approval process.
- Willingness to travel between worksites.
