This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, family run food manufacturer who are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager to take up this key position within the business. This is a new position with a broad remit and a chance to really get stuck in, be involved and make a difference.
Your main responsibilities will be to set and manage the sales plan for the company including strategy and budgets. You will be leading a successful sales team and manage the customer service team members to ensure sales and profit targets are met along with the delivery of quality customer service. There are a few large projects on the horizon too which you will be actively involved in.
- Review and implement improvements to internal processes
- Plan and implement new business development, including new sectors
- Support and lead the sales and customer service teams to achieve targets and meet the demands of customers and the business
- Work as an integral part of the leadership team
- Represent the business as a senior sales person and establish relationships with senior people within your customers, prospective customers, distributors etc.
- Lead the shaping and delivery of sales pricing strategy
