Job Overview

The Laundry Hub is a reputable and customer-focused laundry service provider in Dubai, dedicated to delivering high-quality laundry care with a commitment to customer satisfaction. We are looking for a motivated and friendly Retail Counter Staff member to join our team, helping to create a welcoming environment and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service

    • Greet customers warmly and assist them with the drop-off and pick-up of laundry items.
    • Address customer inquiries, assess their needs, and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Promote our services to customers, encouraging upsells and additional services where appropriate.
    • Strive to increase 5-star Google reviews and overall customer satisfaction.
  2. Operations and Sales

    • Receive and process payments accurately for laundry services.
    • Sort and inspect incoming laundry items to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Increase overall shop sales by providing personalised service and upselling relevant products and services.
    • Gather customer feedback for improvement and communicate it with the operations team.
  3. Shop Maintenance

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented workspace to enhance the customer experience.
    • Handle minor repairs and take necessary actions to prevent damage to items.
    • Report any potential security issues or store-related concerns to management promptly.
  4. Store Procedures

    • Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is prepared for daily operations.
    • Take responsibility for problem-solving and resolving any issues that arise at the counter.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the fashion or laundry sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to meeting customer needs and providing quality service.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of payment processing and cash handling and POS software.
