We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer oriented Sales Associate to enhance the shopping experience at our retail store. The ideal candidate is eager to learn in a fast paced environment and possesses excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed information about product features and benefits.
- Listen carefully and respond to customer inquiries with accurate information.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions in the store.
- Assist customers in locating merchandise within the store premises.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and product displays are attractive.
- Process customer transactions using the cash register effectively and accurately.
- Help coordinate store activities and assist with inventory management.
- Resolve customer complaints in a gracious and timely manner.
- Participate in on the job training programs to enhance customer service skills.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shared business goals.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding operational activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in basic mathematics and capable of handling cash transactions.
- Must be physically able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills with a customer first mindset.
